Official Policy for Online Orders: Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

  1. Introduction
    This document outlines the official policy governing cancellations, returns, and refunds for online orders placed through the official website of Jodhpur Indian Restaurant (hereinafter “the Restaurant”). By placing an order through our website, the customer (hereinafter “the Customer”) acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.

  2. Order Cancellation Policy
    2.1. Cancellation Request Procedure: A request to cancel an order must be initiated by the Customer by contacting the Restaurant directly via telephone at [Restaurant Phone Number] immediately following order confirmation. Cancellation requests submitted via email or social media channels are not guaranteed to be processed in a timely manner and are not the recommended method for cancellation.
    2.2. Eligibility for Cancellation: An order is eligible for cancellation only if the request is received and confirmed by the Restaurant prior to the commencement of food preparation.
    2.3. Non-Eligible Cancellations: The Restaurant cannot accommodate cancellation requests for any order once the kitchen staff has initiated the preparation process. The full order value will be charged for orders where preparation has commenced.

  3. Refund Policy
    3.1. Refund Eligibility: Refunds are issued solely at the discretion of the Restaurant’s management and are contingent upon the specific circumstances of the order. Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
    * Successful cancellation of an order prior to kitchen preparation.
    * A significant error attributable to the Restaurant (e.g., complete incorrect order, substantial missing portion of the order).
    * A verifiable and significant quality issue with the food, provided it is reported immediately upon receipt.
    3.2. Refund Exclusions: The Customer acknowledges that a refund shall not be issued under the following circumstances:
    * Cancellation requests made after the commencement of food preparation.
    * A change of preference or dislike for a dish after it has been prepared.
    * The Customer’s failure to be present at the provided delivery address at the scheduled time or the provision of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.
    * Delays in delivery attributable to external factors including, but not limited to, traffic conditions, weather events, or other force majeure events.
    3.3. Refund Processing: All approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment used for the transaction. The Customer is hereby advised that the processing period for refunds is 3 to 5 business days from the date of approval. The Restaurant is not responsible for any additional processing time required by the Customer’s financial institution.

  4. Policy on Returns and Order Issues
    4.1. Reporting Discrepancies:The Customer is obligated to inspect their order upon receipt. Any discrepancies, including missing or incorrect items, must be reported to the Restaurant by telephone within 30 minutesof order delivery or pickup. The order number must be provided at the time of reporting.
    4.2. Resolution: The Restaurant will undertake reasonable efforts to rectify verified errors attributable to its operations, which may include, at the Restaurant’s sole discretion, the provision of replacement items or a partial refund/credit for the value of the missing or incorrect item(s).

By completing an online order, the Customer signifies their understanding and acceptance of this policy in its entirety.
